17 nominations across multiple Ominous Thrill stories and in the end we've been awarded "Best Anthology" and "Best Sound Design" in the 2026 New Jersey Web fest.
Here's me proving I'll wear skulls to just about anything.
The entire event was a lot of fun. For a few years now, other indie-audio fiction creators have told me that New Jersey Web Fest is the one Web Fest that gives audio fiction the same level of respect as other festivals only give to video/film. Now I can vouch.
The screenings mixed web series and films with audio fiction which was fantastic. The Awards Galas for audio and video were separate events, but I think that kept the pace and relevance high for each. The whole thing was smartly done and it was fun to meet other creators in person.
I'm thrilled to have taken part and I'm honored Ominous Thrill was recognized along side some of the best names in indie-audio fiction.
